Jane McDonald shares stunning snap on beach as she films new Channel 5 travel show


Loose Women and cruising crooner Jane McDonald has finally been able to return to her travels as pandemic restrictions begin to lift all over the world.

The star has endured a tough few years, having been unable to film her famed travel shows for the last two years and heartbreakingly losing her fiancé Ed Rothe last March to lung cancer. But she’s back filming a brand new show for Channel 5 and has shared with fans that she’s having ‘an absolutely fantastic time’.

She was on our screens not too long ago with Jane McDonald: My Yorkshire, where she explored her Wakefield roots and reflected on her Yorkshire childhood. She was also seen in Jane McDonald’s Caribbean Getaway where she became emotional on camera, witnessing a couple renewing their vows on the beach.

Taking to her social media, she shared: “I’ve had an absolutely fantastic time filming my latest travel show. I can’t wait to head off on my next trip to the beautiful Greek island of Rhodes at the end of April.”

She’s also revealed that this time, fans will be able to come with her. Teaming with Harmony Voyages, Jane is offering the chance for fans to go to her show at the Akti Imperial Deluxe Resort, watch her perform and enjoy an all-inclusive week-long holiday.

Fans were quick to comment on her social media post which was accompanied by a beautiful snap of the singer, which showed her posing by the beach with a huge smile on her face. One fan posted a touching message, penning directly to Jane: “I just wanted to tell you how much I love watching your programme. I am suffering from anxiety really bad and watching your show makes me smile and I forget my worries for a short time at least. Your energy and down to earth personality is golden.”

Another added: “Love all your shows …you crack me up you have a fab sense of humour plus your clothes are gorgeous you always look so smart”
