The Justice Office asked a federal appeals court docket on Tuesday to overturn final month’s courtroom determination by a federal choose that declared the mandate requiring masks on airplanes and other community transportation illegal.
In a 48-site document submitted in the 11th U.S. Circuit Courtroom of Appeals, the Justice Section argues that the buy issued by the Facilities for Condition Regulate and Avoidance in early 2021 “falls simply inside of the CDC’s statutory authority.”
