Waterloo
Located in the London borough of Lambeth, Waterloo is London’s busiest station. This railway station is maintained and operated by Network Rail. Between the year 2010 and 2011, the station served nearly 90 million passengers. The major reason for the heavy traffic in the station is that it acts as the finishing point for a number of railway lines coming from Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and the whole of southwest England. Operating since 1836, The London Bridge station is one of the busiest in London. It is located in the London Borough of Southwark. The station is one of the oldest in London and serves over 40 million people every year. It has been updated after a major refurbishment in the year 1978.
Liverpool Street
Liverpool street station, opened in the year 1874, is London’s third busiest station. The station borders the Great Eastern Main Line and the West Anglia Main Line. It also acts as the finishing point of the Stansted Express. The station is one of the 17 stations maintained by Network Rail Limited. It serves Stansted airport and the Southern airport.
Clapham Junction
Clampham Junction is located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. With over 2000 trains passing through the station, it is one of the busiest in London. One of the most unique features of the station is that routes from two of the busiest termini, Waterloo and Victoria, channel through this junction. The station has three major entrances the north, the South west and the South east entrance. The station has public toilets, refreshment stalls and a small supermarket.
