Summer vacation amid coronavirus: Will travel be a bust or surprise?

The summer season will soon be over, and the coronavirus pandemic shows no sign of ending. Most Americans who put their traveling plans and TripMyDream opinions on hold because of the pandemic are considering pushing through with their plans. Although the pandemic changed everything about Tours4Fun and the travel world in the past ten months, the travel world is getting back on its feet with airlines and hotel reopening.

Most people are considering traveling again and preparing for the summer vacation season. According to a survey conducted by the Queenstown heritage tour, about 30% of Americans would consider taking a summer vacation outside their hometown despite the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. Another survey revealed that about 35% of Americans plan to take a flight domestically or internationally before the end of the summer.

Because of the fear of contacting the coronavirus, most Americans would prefer to take their vacation in a city or state that is less crowded. In this post, we’ve compiled a list of the best states you can spend your vacation amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Tips to having a safe vacation during the coronavirus pandemic

  • Book a private vacation rental home to limit the number of people you interact with- Even as you consider taking your summer vacation during this COVID 19 pandemic, you must note that it’s safer to book for private rental vacation homes instead of hotels.
  • Plan for a socially distant trip- Rather than queuing to take a train, plane, or mass transit, plan to have a road trip with your personal care. Stuck up your car with all the essentials you’ll be needing. This will help you to avoid crowded areas.

Other tips include:

  • Camp somewhere remote
  • Consider other safer alternatives to the traditional means of transportation.
  • Work with travel agents.
